Welcome to Personal Ministries at Harrison Seventh-day Adventist Church!
Personal Ministries is the hands-on outreach arm of our church. Its mission is to equip and inspire every member to actively share the love of Jesus and the hope of His soon return through personal evangelism and practical service.
We believe that every believer is called to be a witness — not just through words, but through caring relationships, community service, and the thoughtful sharing of truth. Whether it’s one-on-one Bible studies, community outreach, visitation, or everyday conversations, Personal Ministries helps turn everyday opportunities into meaningful moments for God’s kingdom.
A key part of our ministry is literature evangelism.
We provide a wide variety of high-quality Christian books, magazines, tracts, Bible study guides, and other resources completely free of charge. These materials are available for you to read, study, and share with friends, neighbors, coworkers, and anyone seeking hope and truth. There is no cost to you or to those you reach — the church gladly covers the expense so the gospel message can go out freely and abundantly.
Through Personal Ministries you can:
- Receive training in personal evangelism and discipleship
- Participate in organized outreach projects
- Get involved in literature distribution (door-to-door, mailings, racks, events)
- Join teams for Bible studies and community service
- Use your gifts to help fulfill the Great Commission
